As more CARQUEST stores get the v53.2 release of Nextpart Exploris a few more stores will stumble across the fact that you can delete parts … here is an interesting point we came across. Your store may be set up to delete WEEKLY ….
We found this out by testing a few lines and it seemed to work as promised ..then we did another line or two and it didn’t delete .. when we checked the line for data the next day … so we tried again ..and the day after ..still no deletions…parts were still there …. so off goes an e-mail to Greg S at Tier two and call to Tier 1 help desk …
Just head back from Tier 1 ( no reply from Greg at Tier 2 …:-( ) that our store was updated to daily deletes … and we have a PILE of part numbers to delete …
We are working they the X lines and once done we will tackle the many obsolete CARQUEST lines we have in our system …
