Are you a Multi-Store — did you know this ?

Ever since 50.9 was added …quite a while ago — any multi-store that understood how to do automatic receipting of ASN’s from the sister store ( and some groups didn’t – they continue to do it manually … which speaks for the training issue of Exploris ( WHI NexPart ) …anyways — auto receipting interstore transfers is BROKEN ( call the help desk – call # 2389926 is the first know call ..too bad they don;t have that jobbers name ..I owe him/her a beer …

Ryan & Barry at D&T found this problem ( call # 247 4796 …. look at the difference in call numbers …. no one at Exploris thought ..hmm …maybe we should WARN multi-store jobbers ?????? )

It is the lack of waring that annoys me the most ….

How about you …. I realize there are very few multi-store groups in CARQUEST  ( and why is that ?? ) … but …

Some start to this day ….  gotta love COMPUTER BUGS

Quick follow up from Marc in WI … the issue of you order something -but the count is wrong  — the selling store credits but the Exploris system can’t create a NEGATIVE ASN ..so the buying store is wrong count … hmm … just calling this in ( Ryan at D&T know of this – but not sure we ever called it in as YET ANOTHER BUG …  have called it in — in addition have also requested (call # 247-5351) how to get a list of all NEGATIVE interstore transfers — as these parts need special counts done at the buying store ….  because there is a 72.4% change the buying store forgot the system was buggy and didn’t manually correct ….

=====    update =====

Ryan is saying that in ‘some’ cases the overnight receipting can ‘catch’ the missing receipting … if you get data — post a comment

About Make CARQUEST even better for us all
