So Many Things are CONNECTED …

Here is example of how a simple party can get complex when the ‘small things’ are NOT arranged properly.  DOR  800-082 is a plastic pac of 2 fuel fittings … and the 800-082.5 is a bag of 5.  We had just 1 store selling the pac of 5 ( we worry that new staff might sell a bag of 5 for the EACH price …. yep – that happens )

Issues – IMAGES – we struggle to get Advance CARQUEST to get us images in system on a timely basis… for the 5 pac …should they show 1 or 5 …

Issues – DESCRIPTION – in a long ‘push’ to get better descriptions … if the descriptions told us what is going on … line it s sold as EACH x 5 – or sold as a PAIR.

Issues – ALTERNATES .. these two parts beg to be linked as ALTERNATES … but it is so time consuming to do at a store level … especially when multi-store

Issues – good example of what should have a MIN SELL set …for 5 on the dot 5 pac …do NOT break the pac …. or why price as each in the first place … every part has a different set of factors.

If we can get all the little pieces set together .. life becomes easier … 🙂
