How to WASTE $2,496,000 a year at CARQUEST … can’t scan in inventory received!

Just some quick math …want to waste one hour of staff time …. for each store …?  What does that cost …

The lack of programming and systems to allow us to scan incoming inventory reduces productivity and wastes one hour ( aprox half the current time to check in an order ) … so $10/ hr … x 4 shipments a week x 52 weeks = $2080 a store …. x 1200 stores and we waste $2,496,000 …. nice …eh?

Exploris is really lacking some obvious productivity improvements … this is just one of these
