Just a quick clarification. E-Cat people tell me they want to revert back to the PRS ( Product Resolution Screen ) for all e-cat issues …. but we got that modified just a bit…except if you are Canadian.
Canada never got the PRS system …even thought it was way better that the older (much older – Product Feedback form on the CQLink … Canada is like that. Canada still doesn’t have Vision for special Ordering – something you take for granted as an American Jobber for 10 years.
We beta tested the PRS system and our staff liked it …of course compared with the current system anything is better. Staff hate it when they send something and NO REPLY is ever forthcoming. Then staff stop. That is a loose-loose situation then.
So — if you are Cdn – keep sending in possible e-cat errors and we can make our system better for all … to catalogPRS(at)carquest(dot)com
ps -I have argued for years that a monthly draw should be held and a random submission win a prize and promote that … and issue stats on what stores use and what stores ignore the systems to help make the e-cat better for us all … if we can get just a few more stores to help us all ROW the BOAT …
