Getting Bar Code Scanners working

It is interesting but sometimes the hardest thing to get updated –is staff attitudes … we are finding that there is always 1 store that resists using scanners…

We have a special Beta test with Raleigh to update our UPC code data base …. and have been adding the X line ( non-CARQUEST products ) that we load using DFIU.

Now we have most done ..and just a couple of problems remain …for example a line called UniBond lighting … they provide a lower cost more effective option for the smaller fleet customer than the Grote product.  But they use something called the Code 39 …they have not paid to register for UPC codes like 99.9% of everyone else … hmm … so how do we add these …see image below were we added as all 3 options

Nothing seems to work … is there a work around ? Or do we have to WAIT until they realize they need UPC codes ?  Our position is hurt as any jobbers are like some of our staff …they don’t like it …and have not yet decided they need to use scanners to reduce error s and speed productivity … so Bob Keenan …at Unibond …what do WE do
