Further to the comments made at the staff meeting regarding the auto select button in the post entries screen. At this time when you click on auto select it takes all credits on the customer’s account and begins to pay off invoices no matter what aging period they are in. This causes issues when staff are not paying attention and then the customer questions why they have invoices that do not appear on their statement.
It would be nice if the auto select button was changed so that it would only select the payment credit and then begin to pay invoices/credits in date order oldest to newest. Or change the auto select so that it will pay off specific aging periods by adding auto select 90+, auto select 60 etc.
Also in regards to the post entry screen, the print button still does not work when using the credit memo or debit memo selection. When you select discount credit the print button lights up and will print a copy for the customer. Why can’t the same be done for the rest of the selections? This would save me a lot of time each month. This is not the first time I have asked about this, the discount credit printing was new as of the last version update prior to that discount credit was not an available selection.
