When one problem leads to another ?

At a recent staff meeting Auto Barn ( Greg G ? ) mentioned they linked the MISSING pigtail to a Purge Solenoid ( ECC 73-1398 ) …  now that I am looking at this … here are the problems

1) did anyone send a ‘Product Feedback Form’ …side note –the USA call this PRS and have a much nice way to handle problems … but since sit costs TOO MUCH to translate to French we are stuck with this crap way to try to handle problems …  personally I like to get a Product Manager list and just e-mail them ( which I will do .. )  Summary of problem … our solenoid is missing the pigtail –and others ( Blue Streak CP449 and Borg Warner #CP539 have the missing piece for the same price as just our solenoid …no value for our customers …we have to fix this …

2) BUT in the mean time –we have to do something NOW …  Auto Barn made the AC Delco part # 19257603 and linked it thru Alternates … and even added DISPLAY DESCRIPTION … see image below  the image shows blank -this is another store … I think the data didm;t copy as NEITHER of our other stores MADE the part # into their system…

I added the footnote … I wanted to see where that displays … the “FOOTNOTE-REQUIRED FOR …” was added just like that …it shows on the 2nd line in Exploris and NOT in WEB-LINK

used the word Footnote a test marker to see what line display ..

3) so when the part is NOT here … it doesn’t show in WEB-LINK …  bout does in Exploris but flags it with NIF ( not in file )
