DUPLICATES must DIE …in E-Cat

the post from Thur Oct 3 is in error … I have been corrected on the 14 number – that is …  his quote …

I did not say supersessions last for 14 months. (or at least I did not intend to)   

I said that we ask suppliers to supply catalog data for 14 months.  Once that happens, it is up to the merchant to move the parts to an unused subline or request the line be removed.

So anyways– the point is –we have to all work at removing duplciates to make -Cat better for our customers using Web-Link or our staff …

The product manager in question and a CC to Ken Bush for some clarification …  in this case it was the switch from

EC to line ECC …that happened YEARS and YEARS ago ..it is time to flush this crap out … spring cleaning in October –anyone ??

**** update …. for our stores we have been given the option to REMOVE any and all EC from E-Cat –we have kept PN Codes 10-11 & 19 and REMOVED all others (effective Tue Oct 8 2013 …. ****
