Understanding Spark Plugs and the E-Cat….

This is a odd post …  first — we have to FIGHT to see Mfg Rep’s –as CQ takes a discount in lieu of rep visit’s ..but that doesn’t help us … sure we don’t need to see rep’s every 6 weeks like the ‘old times’  ..but once a year is very helpful.

Example – had NGK rep in ( actually a rep from outside our area covering while they replace our rep. ) and had a really good conversation … but hi-lights some long overdue issues:

-we need better descriptions …  if it is DOUBLE Platinum …say that and just what does a description of IZKR7B …really mean to a customer … ( look at NGK 7563 in Cdn MIF )  …and yes we have asked Raleigh to PLEASE handle this

-we need to understand that copper plugs are so …’yesterday’ …and the Hi-Pop in Copper …well ..grow up and get over it …  I am not sure we need a Hi-POP for Iridium or Platinum … major clean up on aisle 3 , please …

-and E-Cat …OMG …. what a mess … well we have sent in our list of sub lines ( PN Codes ) to Danny Rains to have plugs show up in a better order …  once we have an exception for our store –it will trump the global setting …so we have REMEMBER we have done this …like any other exception ….  Our list will not work for your store but is it close and may prove you a starting point for you to make your changes … we are tired of copper plugs showing up first …

You can have up to 9 buckets ( or priorities ) in how things show …and then it is alphabetical within any group…Screen Shot 2013-08-15 at 12.40.13 PM

Timer will tell how this works ..but we are trying to get smarter and to improve.
